Rosyth 0 - 0 Oakley

Rosyth drew 0-0 against Oakley Utd in thier final league cup game of the group.

Rosyth played well against a good Oakley side who only had one player missing as opposed to Rosyth's five.

It was a game of two halves with Oakley having the better first half and a couple of decisions raising the eyebrows, mainly two offside goals being disallowed, but Rosyth changed thier formation second half and possibly producing the best goal scoring chances.

Steelend Victoria 2 - 5 Rosyth

Rosyth kept thier winning form in the league cup tonight with a superb fight back from 2-0 down to end up 5-2 winners.

Steelend took the lead through Mark Sherry after Del saved the intial shot but he couldn't hold it and it bumbled into the net. The second came from a superb free kick by Dale Seath straight into the top left corner.

The heads never went down and Dean Ogg came from right back to rifle a shot past the keeper just before half time.

Second Half

Rosyth were quick off the mark when ''Agent Brown'' aka Mike Brown ran throughthe defence after westy placed the ball at his feet and smashed a superb drive into the net to level. Rosyth were still hungry for more and pushed hard and westy found Mike Brown again and he smashed into the net to put Rosyth ahead. The fourth came from a free kick in steelends half Westy found Mr Brown's head this time and he stuck it into the net again via the post. Mike Brown wasn't finished yet when westy found him yet again after latching onto a lost ball, for the second time he set it up nicely onto his head for the fifth and final goal.

Another fine performance from a yet to be completed Rosyth team.

Saturday will see Oakley Utd turn up at Rec Park for the next league cup game of the group. KO 2.30pm

Rosyth 0 v 4 Hill'o'Beath Hawthorn

Rosyth lost 4-0 tonight against Hill'o'Beath Hawthorn in the ACA Sports League Cup tonight at Recreation Park

They went 2-0 down in the first half with the first a penalty. Second half saw HoB make it 4 for the win.

Overall all a good performance from Rosyth who have shown tonight they have the makings of a good team. Dont let the result fool you.

It's off to Humbug Park in Crossgates on Saturday for the next League Cup game with a 2.30pm KO.
